Ittigen is very well connected by public transport: S-Bahn and bus lines connect Ittigen and Worblaufen quickly and frequently with the surrounding towns. The journey to Bern (main station) takes a maximum of 15 minutes.

The Bern-Worb S-Bahn line serves the “Ittigen” and “Papiermühle” stops in Ittigen every 15 minutes – even every 7 1/2 minutes in both directions during peak hours in the morning and evening. Bus

lines connect the “Ittigen” (line 43) and “Papiermühle” (lines 40/41) stations with the northern part of the municipality (Kappelisacker). Two bus connections

(lines 40/41) also run from the “Papiermühle” station to Bern, with a direct connection to the

Bernmobil. All S-Bahn lines pass through the Worblaufen station. The connections to the surrounding towns and to Bern are very good. A bus also runs to the northern district of Bern. On weekends, Ittigen and Worblaufen are served at night by the Moonliner.
